November - December

The months from November to April are considered the summer months and French Polynesia` wet seasons with heavy rain downpours and thunderstorms in the afternoons. The days are still filled with sunshine but also accompanied by high humidity, however, the southeast trade winds do help to cool things off. This time of year can be quieter on the tropical islands making them the perfect location for a tropical sun-filled vacation. The Marquesas are great this time of year, close to the equator with a slightly different rain pattern, and sees less rain during the summer.
